From our colorful tiderunner weakfish run every spring, to NJ’s famed fall striped bass and bluefish blitzes, the central Jersey coast offers world class saltwater fishing for any level of experience.
Our custom fleet of boats run from Sandy Hook, Manasquan Inlet, and Barnegat Bay to offer you the best opportunity to have the fishing experience of a lifetime. These boats are built with traditional wide flared bows and classic lines that offer you a soft, dry, and dependable ride. All our boats are built for the Northeast fisherman and can be compared to no others. They are simply the finest fly and light tackle boats on the water today and you can rest assured that our Captains will put you on the fish like no others.
Most important of all, every Shore Catch Guide is a Licensed United States Coast Guard Captain and every boat in the Shore Catch fleet meets or exceeds the United States Coast Guard Marine Safety Equipment requirements.

 Cape Horn 31 Offshore CC Awesome best describes the Cape Horn 31 Offshore Center Console. With an overall length of 31 feet, 8 inches this custom built Cape Horn 31 Offshore is specially rigged for fly and light tackle fishing in any open water condition. Battle tested; the Cape Horn 31 Offshore is designed with the professional in mind who isn't willing to sacrifice speed or comfort.
The twin Yamaha Twin 250 Four Stroke engines enable you to get to the most rugged offshore destinations, comfortably, dependably, or fish inshore for stripers, blues and false albacore with fly and light tackle in the lap of luxury . With a cruising speed of 45mph and a range of 450 miles there is almost nowhere to hide from this beast.
Whether it be running through the heavy surf in open water, or hitting the offshore Tuna and Marlin grounds, the Cape Horn 31 Offshore is proven to provide a dry and stable fishing environment in any ocean condition. The unique deck layout provides sure footing as well as snag free features to eliminate fly line hazards. Our tackle is the best the industry has to offer: St Croix Rods, Tibor Reels, Rio Fly Lines, AVET Conventional Reels, and Shimano spinning reels.
Veteran anglers know big fish need big baits and they will appreciate the seriousness of this design. The largest of baits will feel pampered in one of the two (60/25 gal.) live well systems. With tons of storage and 38 custom rod holders for tackle from fly to heavy offshore conventional, all other boats seem unqualified next to the Cape Horn 31.
The boat is equipped with state of the art Raymarine GPS, chart plotters, fish finders, Sirius satellite weather and radar; full five panel isinglass curtains to get out of the cold or rain; and the finest offshore safety equipment to provide a safe, fast, productive, and enjoyable day on the water.
With more standard features than any other in its class, the Cape Horn 31 truly has an appetite for success inshore or offshore. Like all Cape Horns the 31 Offshore is unsinkable.

The 2820 XL Sport Cabin is a big fishing machine that can fish both the inshore waters and the offshore grounds providing a safe and dry, stable ride in any weather or during any season. Powered with twin Yamaha Twin 250 Four Stroke engines the 28 cruises at 40 mph to get you to your destination quickly while you relax in the comfort of a large heated pilot cabin. With its 77 inches of headroom and 4 captain’s chairs you won’t feel cramped when going the distance with her 250 gallon fuel capacity. And if necessary you have the comfort of a clean and private electric head in the forward cabin.
And when it comes to fighting fish like big tuna on the offshore grounds or trophy bass inshore the huge 11 foot long cockpit and 9 foot 6 inch beam offers plenty of room for the fight of your lifetime to subdue your catch. A full transom with a 268 quart insulated fishbox will also insure that your catch stays icy cold if you plan to bring it home for the dinner table. A 40 gallon livewell will also hold all the live bait you will need for the day.
The 28 is equipped with state of the art Raymarine C-120 GPS/chart plotter/fish finder/radar, two DSC radios, Epirb, and all the necessary offshore safety equipment to provide a safe and enjoyable day on the water. A full complement of St. Croix light tackle spin, fly rods, and heavy conventional rods are provided.

Capt. David runs the very stable 25 foot Parker Sport Cabin with state of the art Furuno electronics including Radar, GPS, Chart Plotter and Fish Finder. He shoves off from Sandy Hook Bay Marina, Highlands, NJ. Capt. David is our "Striper Specialist" and focuses on the Raritan and Sandy Hook bays, as well as the surrounding ocean waters. He uses several techniques for his clients' success including Fly, Spin and Conventional Live Lining and Chunking. All on light tackle St Croix rods with Avet conventional, Ross fly and Shimano spinning reels. Capt. David also offers Tuna, Albie, Bluefish, Blackfish, Fluke and Weakfish trips.

Built in the true Parker tradition the 23 Special Edition is a tremendous platform for an fishing situation. With a 10 inch draft, it is one of the only boats in its class that has the ability to fish and run in a foot of water, throw the nose down in a choppy open sea and watch as the "wide-flared" deep bow cuts through the junk like a Sherman tank.

The newest sled in the Shore Catch fleet is Captain's Dave and Rich's new "TNT" a 26 foot Cape Horn Offshore Center Console. Dave and Rich are also Raritan Bay specialists and at home clamming, chunking, and livelining for stripers and blues in the Sandy Hook area.

The Jones Brothers Bateau skiff is the latest addition to the Shore Catch Line up. This boat joins our fleet specifically for the angler who wants to fly and light tackle fish the New Jersey backwaters. This is the ultimate flats skiff. A dry stable ride coupled with the ability to fish in less than a foot of water makes this skiff the perfect choice for “stealth” angling in Barnegat Bay. Our Jones is rigged with a Yamaha 90 four stroke and a hydraulic jack plate to go where no other boats can go. Add a poling platform for those days when the bass are roaming the white sand flats and you have the perfect backwater bay skiff.

Whether it be in the back bays, open beachfronts, or offshore, this sleek "speed machine" offers a dry and stable ride with state of the art electronics and safety equipment.
